Hidalgo County Urban County Program receives help for colonias impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic

Urban County Director P.R. Avila presented the Texas Community Development Block Grant, through the Texas Department of Agriculture, for Emergency Services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of the Emergency Services grant is to provide assistance to residents impacted by the public health and economic crisis due to COVID-19.
