McALLEN – Hortencia Castillo Medeiros, 83, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 7, 2021, at her residence in Mission. She is survived by her nine children, Judy Martinez of Edinburg, Guadalupe “Lita” Harris of Mission, “Tony” Medeiros, Rose Medeiros, Mary Lee (Todd) Tumlinson, Rev. John (Cleo) Medeiros Div, Alexandra (Roberto Zapata) Medeiros, Peter Medeiros, and Gary (Carmen) Medeiros, all of McAllen; 32 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five siblings. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Graveside service took place at 10 a.m.
