IGNACIO “Nacho” MEDINA

ALAMO – Ignacio “Nacho” Medina, 65, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

Ignacio was born on February 1, 1955, to Lucio Medina and Petra Medina. Formerly of Alamo Tx. Ignacio will be fondly remembered by his Family and Friends as a mentor, loving Brother, father figure, Godfather, a loving friend, but most importantly a pillar of support to many. He was a true family man. A kind and gentle soul that has raised us, taught us, disciplined us, and graced our world with a unique and humbling presence that comes from a life filled with experiences of love, and laughter. Simply, today the world is a little sadder because we have lost a truly humble, decent, and caring man. And in today’s times, that is a great loss. We will not soon forget him and so many of us felt honored to have had him touch our lives in some small way.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria De Los Angeles G. Medina; his parents, Petra and Lucio Medina, three brothers, Cecilio, Ramon, and Salome Medina.
