EDINBURG – Maria De La Luz Perales, 81, went home to our Lord Friday, January 8, 2021, at her residence in Edinburg. Born in San Pedro, Coahuila, MX, Mrs. Perales had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anacleto Perales; and her parents, Candelario and Maria Contreras. Mrs. Perales is survived by four children, Ruth Contreras of Edinburg, Jesus Eduardo (Rosio) Contreras of Elsa, Dawnetta Lee (David) Moncivais of Zapata, Hazel Rocha of Edinburg; six grandchildren; six siblings; and her loving pet, Cookie.
