HIDALGO - Pura Hernandez, 90, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at her residence in Hidalgo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Hernandez. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her 13 children; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five siblings. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Friday, August 6, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment followed at Hidalgo City Cemetery.
