McALLEN - Rebecca S. Lara, 83, died Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was a member of the Legion of Mary for 37 years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of McAllen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Micaela Silva; and two siblings, Ramiro Silva and Raquel Handy.
