Milo E. “Mike” Shobe, and his twin, Arlo, were born and raised on a farm outside Waverly, Kansas. His parents were Arthur and Edna (Bunge) Shobe. As the Great Depression ended he moved with his parents to South Texas’ Rio Grande Valley.
