GOOGLE and Facebook got hit with lawsuits Monday, filed by Newspaper publishers representing 125 papers in 11 states, including Texas. AIM, which publishes The Monitor, The Valley Morning Star, and the Brownsville Herald, is one of them.
According to the lawsuits, the billionaire companies unlawfully monopolized the digital ad market, while engaging in an illegal secretive deal nicknamed “Jedi Blue,” meant to stymie competition.
