City of Alton To Receive Financial Assist From The Clean Water State Revolving Fund

AUSTIN — The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), at their regularly scheduled board meeting approved the City of Alton’s request for $8.5 million in financial assistance from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) to finance the planning, acquisition, design, and construction of a drainage improvements project. Funding from the CWSRF provides below-market interest rate loans for wastewater management projects. The proposed project is intended to relieve the frequent hoods.
