He offered, in fact, to give the group Queers for Palestine one hundred thousand dollars in order for them to fly to the Middle East and hold a gay pride parade in Gaza honoring the Palestinians the group backs. His offer was met with horror. Pool’s pledge was not empty words. He is wealthy enough to have the money he offered.
