Yavoriv is a town and military base in Western Ukraine about 50 miles from the Polish border. The complex there was used pre-war by the American military to train Ukrainians. The Americans left when Russia invaded the country. According to a CNN report, however, Russia may well think the Americans are still there and that Russians are fighting against NATO soldiers on Ukrainian soil.They bombed the area a few days ago and claim they killed a large number of foreign fighters.
