More war may be coming Does life make sense to you?

I don’t know about you, but to me, life makes no sense. In fact, the older I get, the less sense it makes, which is doubly depressing. Instead of becoming more enlightened, I’m less enlightened than I was in my early 20s; and the number of stupid people around me is growing exponentially. Okay, I include myself in that number, but at least I realize I’m stupid. Most stupid people have no clue they’re stupid. Now comes this talk of a possible war with Iran. Really? The same liars who got us into the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are now spouting battle cries for war with Iran. The New York Times, by the way, was one of the biggest purveyors of Bush’s lies about Iraq, claiming Hussein had WMDs, along with The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal, all of which were cheering for an Iraqi invasion. We’re going to open up those…gulags and those prisons, and you’re going to hear stories of rape and torture and misery, and then we’re going to find all of the weapons of mass destruction.” For this stupidity, Hannity earns millions per year. No big surprise, but after Trump, who was a peacenik before he got elected, ordered the execution of Iran General Soleimani last week, Hannity endorsed the president’s decision to launch the deadly drone strike that now has Iran declaring that it is ending its limits on nuclear enrichment and will kill Americans wherever it can find any of us to kill. In step with Hannity are most all of the morons who got us into the Iraq War. Iraq remain a disaster, thousands of our troops have been killed, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed, the country gutted, Christians expelled, but yet, our so-called leaders learned nothing from it. Now there is even talk of bringing back the military draft. Should it return, women, of course, in our nation of equality, would still be excluded from the draft. Even today, women don’t have to register with Selective Service within 30 days of their ...
