Montana’s Governor Greg Gianforte has just signed a bill that will ban all use of TikTok in his state beginning next January 1st. A group of Montana residents has responded by suing the governor and the state. The American Civil Liberties Union has joined in the legal action on the grounds that the ban amounts to an attack on freedom of speech.
