When I was young, the saying, “Live fast, die young, and leave a good-looking corpse,” sounded pretty cool. Then, I started seeing young people die, and I decided maybe suffering an early death wasn’t so cool after all.
The quote, by the way – “Live fast…” -- was first used in a 1949 Humphrey Bogart movie, “Knock on Any Door.”
