By Tom HaugheyLast week, the Texas Senate voted on the impeachment of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on 20 assorted charges made against him by the Texas House of Representatives. The House vote had been by a large margin and was bipartisan in nature. The allegations included such diverse charges as lying about whistleblowers, accepting bribes, and helping a purported mistress get a government job. In the Senate, Paxton was found not guilty of all of the assorted charges.
