When I was young, like maybe two years ago, I held regulations in high contempt. Of course, when you’re young, you think you’re going to live forever. As every decade of your life passes by, so does the thought that you’re immortal. For a lot of people, making it to 80 seems like a sad stretch.
Texting-and-driving is a problem that we all face. It causes wrecks, road rage, missing a green light because the texter is stuck on text when the red light changes to green, failing to stop at a red light because the text is too engrossing; and besides, who needs to keep their eyes on the road while behind the wheel? Old school.
During my walk the other day – 36 minutes – I thought of Bud Light when I happened to stumble across a discarded beer can along the curb. In the RGV, I can tell Bud Light is the most popular brew because the vast majority of empty beer cans tossed from passing vehicles carry the Anheuser-Bush brand name.
