The Jan. 6th Committee
Just a few days ago a member of Donald Trump's former executive branch was arrested on his way to Nashville to appear on Mike Huckabee's Christian television program. His supposed crime was that he had refused a subpoena from the House Jan. 6th Committee on the grounds of executive privilege. In point of fact, however, he could have refused to respond on the grounds that the committee itself was illegal and should not possess subpoena power because it was purely partisan and did not meet bipartisan requirements. Nancy Pelosi rejected every Republican that the Republican leadership submitted for committee membership. Instead she selected a mere two RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) who were “Never Trumpers” and biased to the core. Now, of course, that same committee has been broadcasting its supposed findings. Fortunately, polls show that the electorate is not extremely interested in what it has to say.
