Government has known since last fall that there was a problem affecting the supply of infant formula. Many people, therefore, are blaming the Biden Administration for not taking prompt action to increase the supply. The problem, however, goes far deeper than that. It seems the government may be responsible for the entire shortage from beginning to end.
Gov. Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Education Agency to ensure school facilities are made safer in the wake of the killing of 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary in Uvalde.
The president commented about the Uvalde massacre, condemned the National Rifle Association, and once again called for gun control. Nothing demanded by either him or other Democrats, however, is likely to have prevented the school shooting.
The gunman who killed 21 people inside a Uvalde elementary school walked into the unlocked building unopposed, the Department of Public Safety said in a revised statement, as reported by the Austin American-Statesman and other media sources.
