The World of Sports Football spirit was in high gear last week at PSJA Stadium. The PSJA High Bears hosted the San Benito Greyhounds last Thursday, Sept. 12, in a non-district contest at PSJA Stadium. The Greyhounds prevailed, 34-13. In an intra-rival contest, the PSJA Southwest Javelinas took on PSJA Memorial Wolverines last Friday, Sept. 13, at PSJA Stadium. The Javelinas took this one, 41-14. Also on Friday the 13th , the PSJA North Raiders traveled to Weslaco to take on the Panthers in a non-district game. The Panthers won 24-7.
