PHARR -- Vaughn Bowman, 88, from Jefferson City, Missouri made a holein-one on Hole 15 at Tierra Del Sol Golf Club in Pharr. The feat was accomplished on Friday, Jan. 17, according to Michael Fernuik, golf course manager at Tierra Del Sol Golf Club. Vaughn hit his PING 9 iron 110 yards into the hole. He started playing golf at 68 years old and this was Vaughn's first hole-in-one. Witnesses to the feat were Leon Miller, Fran Jaryszak and Cathy Young. ...
