After a couple of weeks of non-district match-ups, RGV teams are gearing up for district action. Last Friday, Sept. 20, the Los Fresnos Falcons traveled to Edinburg Vela to take on the Sabercats in a non-district game. Edinburg Vela won 35-18. The PSJA Southwest Javelinas traveled to Brownsville last Saturday, Sept. 21 to play the Pace Vikings in a non-district contest. The Vikings prevailed, 28-14.
