The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley’s women’s basketball team’s season has officially come to an end. The Vaqueros, despite being eliminated in the Southland Conference Tournament earned themselves a bid to the Women’s National Invitational Tournament — more recognizably known as the WNIT.On Sunday, UTRGV hit a wall as they fell 81-52 against the Illinois State Redbirds.
