MONDAY STATS, 11-10-2020  EDINBURG – Health officials reported eight more deaths and 147 new positive cases related to COVID-19 on Monday, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Tuesday. There are now a total of 1,989 recorded deaths related to the outbreak of this disease and 37,031 known positive cases.   “The nation is contending with record numbers of new cases each day,” Judge Cortez said. “We must deny this disease another chance for a surge in numbers in our community.
