The Texas Library Association announced South Texas College, in coordination with Rio Grande Valley Bethel Garden Mural Taskforce, Village in the Valley and the city of McAllen, as a recipient of the 2022 Texas Branding Iron Award in the Academic Library Special Event/Exhibit category for its project, "Art in Action: Bringing History to Life."
