We had another successful community clinic this month and we're so grateful for the support of Banfield Foundation and PetSmart Charities to make clinics like this happen. Even more, though, we want to give a giant shoutout to Dr. Robert Ramos, DVM, who has been stepping up to help us with veterinary services while we don't have a full-time vet on staff. He's been such a lifesav er, and we are so thankful! Are you a veterinarian working in the RGV? We need your help! We have many opportunities to serve the community but need veterinarians to make it happen! If you can help, contact us at info@pvastx.org.

Friedman ran for Texas governor in 2006 and came in fourth in a six-candidate race.
