Edinburg set to kick off holiday season with festive events

EDINBURG — The City of Edinburg is bringing back the joy of the holiday season with several fun-filled events. The first is the annual Lighting of the Tree ceremony to be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the City Hall Courtyard located at 415 W. University Dr. The ceremony will not only light up the tree, but it will also light up all the city’s light display decorations along the city’s McIntyre Promenade.

Meet super sweet, friendly, and affectionate pup Italia who would do anything for head and belly scratches. She is also very cuddly and loves attention! Italia "absolutely adores water" and would make a perfect beach buddy. When she first got to our shelter, she was not very good on the leash, but now she does excellent while walking. If you think she might be the right fit for you, stop by our Andrews Center to see her today!

Mid-sized pooches make great pals

This week Cinderella is featuring a couple of medium-sized boy dogs, Eagle and Rhythm, either of which will make you very thankful if you happen to be the lucky people who adopt them. At this time of year, when we all count our blessings, we at Cinderella naturally think of all the many wonderful dogs and cats who we have the pleasure to meet, love, and find homes for. We would be delighted to find homes for these excellent dogs.
