The McAllen Convention Center cordially invites members of the media and the McAllen community to help kick-off the Christmas Season at the ninth annual Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place at the McAllen Convention Center Oval Park on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, starting at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy holiday musical performances right before the 64-foot, pre-lit Christmas tree will light up Oval Park, along with millions of lights that will be featured in South Pole Illuminated Festival presented by Junior’s Supermarket.

EDINBURG — The City of Edinburg is bringing back the joy of the holiday season with several fun-filled events. The first is the annual Lighting of the Tree ceremony to be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the City Hall Courtyard located at 415 W. University Dr. The ceremony will not only light up the tree, but it will also light up all the city’s light display decorations along the city’s McIntyre Promenade.
