Chaplains certification ceremony held May 22nd
On Saturday, May 22, 2021, The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP) of Region IV celebrated the announcement of the different areas of certification for the Chaplaincy Program. The CPSP (a twoyear program) was pleased to announce the completion of certification of these candidates. They include Clinical Chaplain, Pastoral Counselor and Hospice Care, which include the following different chapters:
McAllen Independence Day celebration plans underway
The City of McAllen is preparing for this year’s McAllen Independence Day Celebration presented by H-E-B. The annual Independence Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021, with an early morning patriotic program, immediately followed by the Main Street Parade and then the Freedom Festival, a family-friendly festival held at Archer Park. Music, food, and games will be some of the highlights of the event.
