Tuning in one night near the conclusion to Dr. James Dobson’s Focus on the Family radio program, I discovered a writer being interviewed about his book, The Most Important Place on Earth. The central theme of this book was that “the most important place on earth” is the home.
If Baby Boomers like me (born between 1946 and ’64) don’t record or write down memories from our youth, they’ll soon be forgotten. In today’s digital world, I’m not sure that experiences last long enough for most youth. Meaning, they don’t have much chance of remaining affixed to a kid’s memory banks.
