EDINBURG — The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library invites the public to celebrate National Poetry Month with local poet César L. de León. The author will promote his talent in verse -- including his contribution to the poetry anthology Dreaming: A Tribute to Selena Quintanilla-Perez -- at the library on Thursday, April 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

PHARR – The City of Pharr recently held a Time Capsule Unveiling Ceremony to honor the city’s past, preserve the present, and remind the future citizens of the city’s rich history. Officials from throughout Hidalgo County attended the historic event, helping to fill the capsule with relics that will one day be opened by future Pharr leaders and residents.
