This week Cinderella is featuring a dog and a cat who know each other very well. Arya, a beautiful, and very rare calico tabby, was born in September 2020 and was raised with Zadie, an adorable mama dog who had herself a passel of nine sweet puppies. Not only did they manage to co-exist, Arya loved all of “her” puppies so much, and Zadie didn’t mind at all that Arya helped out a bit with puppy baby-sitting.
EDINBURG – On April 23rd, National Lost Dog and Cat Awareness Day, Palm Valley Animal Society proudly joined forces with Petco Love, formerly known as the Petco Foundation, a national non-profit working to lead and inspire change for animals, and animal welfare groups across the country, on a shared mission to help reunite lost pets with their families should they ever go missing. According to industry statistics, sadly, one in every three pets will go missing in their lifetime.
ALAMO — The fort, first known as Fort Texas, was established in 1846 on orders of General Zachary Scott in what is now the Brownsville area. The fort on the northern bank of the Rio Grande River was ordered to set the boundary at the river as the U.S. southern border and to maintain control over the city of Matamoros on the south side of the river.
