Palm Valley Animal Society’s annual Clear the Shelters event starts Saturday, August 1st from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue until the last day of the month. Rather than just one day for Clear the Shelters this year, it will last the entire month of August!
McALLEN — As a municipal government, the City of McAllen is attempting to address all activities that may be affected by new and current orders.
The fear of coronavirus is severely impacting the U.S. blood supply as blood centers and hospitals across the country are struggling to maintain stable inventories and avoid a critical blood shortage. With school closures and business shutdowns, many anticipated blood collections disappeared—almost overnight. And that number continues to grow.
This week Cinderella is featuring a couple of awesome youngsters, Alpha, a small, good-looking blonde terrier cross, and Daisy, a pretty patchwork calico female cat. (Did you know that all calicoes are female?)
PHARR — National nonprofit organization The Molina Foundation has awarded PSJA ISD a grant that offers the district about 35,400 books as part of their Families Learning Together Program.
