One of the delights of living in the Rio Grande Valley are the parrots who roost here. The most common of which is the red-crowned parrot (AKA, the Mexican red-headed Amazon).
General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Europe, was missing. He had gone to Reims and started back to Versailles in his olive drab Cadillac with plenty of time to reach his headquarters before dinner that evening.
Dashley is a pretty young female Husky born in May of 2022. She’s tall and lean and rather wolfish, with symmetrical markings, including a white tip on her bushy tail. She’s a fun-loving pooch. She’s active and friendly and loves to run and play. She especially enjoys splashing around in her doggie pool. She’s eager for human attention and will even strike up a “conversation” with her Husky vocabulary. She’s a good size at 40 pounds — substantial but not daunting. She would love to be a forever best friend to an active person or family, and, as far as she’s concerned, the sooner, the better.
