Special to the Advance The City of McAllen is developing an updated comprehensive plan and is asking for residents’ input on what they feel the community needs at a community meeting taking place on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the McAllen Public Library Auditorium, 4001 N. 23rd St. At the meeting, McAllen city leaders and staff, including those who speak Spanish, will be on hand to receive comments and help residents engage on the plan development. The comprehensive plan will help McAllen maintain its character, enhance the quality of life for residents and support economic development.
This will probably surprise a lot of us who have lived in the RGV for many years and watched multiple marriages crumble, and that was before the age of cell phones, but according to a study recently published by MyDatingAdvisor.com, released to media outlets across the U.S. last week, McAllen (really, all of Hidalgo County) is the ninth most faithful city in the U.S. when it comes to adultery, or the lack thereof.
