PHARR — The City of Pharr announces the Municipal Court Amnesty Period will run through April 30. On March 7, the Pharr City Commission approved authorization for the Municipal Court of the City of Pharr to hold an amnesty period, during which time any failure to appear and warrant charges will be waived for any unadjudicated fines paid in full.

AUSTIN — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $913.3 million in local sales tax allocations for March, 19.8 percent more than in March 2021. These allocations are based on sales made in January by businesses that report tax monthly.
