There aren’t many, if any, public school districts in relatively conservative, majority Catholic South Texas that are embracing DEI —Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion — to the extent that IDEA Public Schools is incorporating it into its policies under the banner “GAY PRIDE” and its support of the LGBTQ+ community.
