I bet you didn’t know why Mexico is basically a lawless land these days, did you? Yep. American gun manufacturers. I bet by the time Mexico walks away from this shake-down scam, they have at least $200 million in its pocket. Maybe more. The insurance companies are going to settle. Mexico will say, thanks, and the price of guns will increase to pay for the increased insurance premiums.

This is a story that should have been written last month — the two felony indictments against former Alamo Executive Secretary Crystal Garza have been dismissed (Sept. 10, 2021). The Motions to Dismiss the two indictments were filed by the Hidalgo County DA’s Office and then signed by state District Judge Luis Singleterry.
