EDINBURG — DHR Health is pleased to announce Roberto Alejandro Cruz, M.D., has joined the DHR Health Neurology Institute. Dr. Cruz brings an extensive range of expertise to the Rio Grande Valley. He is board-certified in Neurology and the only fellowship trained neuro-immunologist and multiple sclerosis specialist in the region.

He is board certified in Transplant Hepatology and devoted to caring for patients with liver diseases and focuses on advancing liver therapies for fatty liver and liver cancer through research.

Criteria amended for the Hidalgo County Cares Small Business Grant Program

EDINBURG – The Hidalgo County Cares Small Business Grant Program has amended the requirements and criteria to apply for assistance. The program was created to financially assist rural county businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Census Bureau moves up final response day to Sept. 30

EDINBURG – The U.S. Census Bureau recently announced it was moving up the final day to respond to the 2020 Census by more than a month from their original deadline. Previously, residents could respond by October 31, 2020, however the new date to complete the survey is September 30, 2020.
