If you happen to visit a high-traffic area in one of the state’s larger cities, you might come across some folks wearing sandwich boards, such as one sees during tax season or mattress sales. The Texas Department of Transportation has adopted this marketing device to promote its “Be Safe. Drive Smart” pedestrian safety campaign this month.

Google and Facebook have enormous economic and political power in society — especially over the news industry. Many ask if they have played a role in the misinformation that erodes our free press and plagues our democracy.

Joe and Hunter are both facing real problems, in terms of public opinion and of facts available. The New York Times, for example, has just released a poll which indicates that over 60% of Democrats do not want Joe Biden to run for reelection in 2024. The same poll shows that his overall support by all voters of every party is disastrously low (with the vice president's approval rating even lower). Biden only gets that 92% Democrat backing he talks about if he's running in a rematch against former president Donald Trump.
