Ten House Republicans have joined with Democrats in once again accusing Donald Trump of the high crime of inciting others to overthrow the government. The problem is, however, that he never advocated violence or suggested any overthrow. If anything, he accused Democrats of overthrowing the government themselves through pervasive voter fraud and illegally changing voting rules. One Republican legislator, indeed, has promised to introduce a bill once Biden is sworn in accusing Biden and his running mate of sedition and calling for impeachment of the incoming team.(For supporting rioters last summer and bailing them out).
