man Vicente Gonzalez (TX- 15) announced that he will be hosting a series of Vietnam War 50th commemoration pinning ceremonies to honor Vietnam-era veterans in the 15th District of Texas. McALLEN - In 2019, McAllen International Airport (MFE) experienced record-setting growth with 432,178 passenger boardings. This is a 20% increase from 2018. It is also the highest number of enplanements in MFE’s history. “We are pleased that McAllen International Airport served a record number of passengers for business and leisure travel in 2019,” said Mayor James E. Darling. “McAllen’s International Airport is the leading facility in the Rio Grande Valley offering world class amenities, service and destinations. One of the definitive differences between my view of the world as a person guided by faith and another’s guided by chance is that I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a coincidence. To wit: Is it a coincidence that the publication date of this issue falls on Ash Wednesday? For a Lutheran pastor with a biweekly faith column—not a chance (ha!)!
