Former QB Kaepernick’s false narrative

If you’re a sports fan, you’ve probably already seen the news that former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick wants another chance to play pro ball. The way most sports writers, sports outlets, are portraying the story is that the league is still blackballing “Kap” because he’s the guy who starting the “kneeling” deal on the San Fran sidelines back in 2016 while the National Anthem played. It was his way of protesting the way America is and has treated black people, he said, and other people of color.

You’re either jealous of the number of romantic encounters he’s experienced during his pro career, or you wish him bad luck because you’re a moralist who counts the man as a world-class sinner, deserving of no future success.

Tom Brady is now reminding me of Brett Favre (Farv). First you’re going to retire from the NFL, and then you’re not. Favre turned it into an abstract art form, seeming to cry both when he retired and when he announced his return from retirement. TV screens were awash in Brett’s tears.
