PHARR — PSJA North Early College High School Senior Ariella Saenz signed a letter of intent to play softball for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi on Jan. 13.
PHARR — PSJA North Early College High School Senior Victoria Espinoza signed a letter of intent to play softball with the Dust Devils at Texas A&M International University.
PHARR — Abel Estrada, a 1996 PSJA High School graduate was named the Athletic Coordinator for PSJA Southwest Early College High School. Estrada has been coaching at the school since it opened in 2010 and most recently was the interim coordinator.
If Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Mike McCarthy is making $4 million a year — mas o menos — then I think he’s probably making too much money based on the way Sunday’s home playoff game against the 49ers ended. By way of comparison, the New England Patriots’ Bill Belichick is pulling down $12.5 million a year. Both share one thing in common though — their teams are now out of the playoffs.
The Senior Texas Softball League is preparing for the 2021 season and is looking for men and women ages 55 and older to add to its 10 teams. Each league will have a 17- game schedule including playoffs.
