EDINBURG — Driscoll Health Plan is sponsoring the second annual Baby’s First Christmas, a special Christmas event where moms-to-be and families can have fun and enjoy the holidays.
We have been getting showered with puppies! Nine pups were brought in without a mother, and Bella just gave birth to 10 puppies. We currently have five sets of moms and puppies in desperate need of a foster home. These families will do better outside the shelter environment, where less stress and an appropriate climate will keep them healthy. If you can help any of these families, please email the foster team at foster@pvastx.org. We will provide foster parents with supplies for the families.
The PSJA Bears Class of 1957 have observed Pandemic Protocols limiting gatherings, but now Fully Vaccinated they will resume monthly reunions during 2021, alternating between breakfast and dinner on the second Saturday of every month.
EDINBURG — In honor of National Day of Giving, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV received a generous donation for its Workforce Readiness Program. Earlier today, Charter Communications, (the parent company for Spectrum) announced it would donate $10,000 and 40 new Chromebooks and tablets to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV.
