Forever homes for the holidays

The weather has turned chilly and the year is winding down. One big joyous day of giving thanks–down, a couple of big holidays to go. We at Cinderella want to remind you that pets shouldn’t be given as gifts to other people–because everyone should choose their own special companion BUT we highly recommend that you give yourself the gift of love this holiday season by bringing a new dog or cat into your home. We have so many wonderful dogs and cats to choose from and what they would love more than anything else is to have a forever home.

Pets of the week

Meet Ranger Wayne! He’s an 11- monthold male pit mix puppy, medium- sized, and weighs about 45 lbs. He’s neutered and chipped already and has proof of rabies shot. He’s loving and energetic and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. He’s quick to pick up commands and knows how to s i t , lay down and give his paw. He’s grown up indoors but does well outdoors as well. Please call us to set up a meet and greet at 956- 720- 4563.

Astros biggest betting winner

Sure, the Houston Astros won the World Series last week, the team’s second go-around (first was in 2017), but one of the biggest winners in the game, so to speak, was 71-year-old James “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, who had laid out $10 million in bets that the Astros would win the Series, and now he’s set to collect a $75 million payout, the largest in sports betting history.
