Special to the Advance EDINBURG — The City of Edinburg is excited to host the 41st Annual David Chavana 10K Run/Walk on February 4, 2023. The race, to be held at the Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department at 315 Mark S. Pena Drive, will begin at 8 a.m. this Saturday.
If these nippy winter days are getting you down, nothing could be better for lifting your spirits and warming you heart than sharing your home with a brand new pet who has never had a home of her own. Wichita and Gracie are just two of the many dogs and cats longing for someone to love them.
HUB City Toastmasters meets each Wednesday at the Pharr Memorial Library, 121 E. Cherokee, second floor, from noon until 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome.
