Air mistakes can kill you
Pictures are worth a thousand words. When I was just getting started in aviation, my flight instructor had this poster on his wall, which showed an old bi-wing plane crashed nose first into this barren tree, standing tall in an empty field. With it was this quote: “Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect.”
Rio Grande MPO allocates $6,440,000 for road projects in Hidalgo Co. Precinct 3
Special to the Advance MISSION — Last week, The Rio Grande Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (RGV MPO) announced that it will allocate funds to support two critical projects within Precinct 3. The funding will help improve the quality of life and prosperity for constituents that reside near Liberty Boulevard in the City of Peñitas, and Los Ebanos Road in the City of Mission.
