How to stick a crosswind landing

I’m writing these flying columns now on an irregular basis because, well, I can no longer pass my FAA medical, and as such, I can no longer fly a plane legally. Meaning, if you’re relatively young, and/or older in good health, and you have the money and time, what’s stopping you from taking flying lessons? Aviation, one of the great joys in life. Don’t miss out. You’ll thank me later. Learning to fly a plane should be on most everyone’s bucket list. The trick is staying safe and learning to minimize the risk.

Blake, Calamus looking for loving homes

Blake is a pretty young tabby cat, born last February. She’s got great big green eyes, a cinnamon nose and cream highlights on her face. She’s a bit bashful at first but she’s very sweet and enjoys playing with her toys and with other cats. If you’re looking for a lovable feline companion, please consider Blake. She’s used to communal cat living, so would probably not mind being a part of a cat family. If you’re looking for a quiet, low-key kitty-cat, Blake could be the cat for you.
