Hello! I’m Cayden! Ever had your heart melted before? If not, I’m sure to do it! I’m the cutest boy and have so much love to give! I’m friendly and sweet with people and have also been in a home environment before, so adjusting to yours won’t be a problem! I get along with other dogs too, although I do better with females than with males. I can sit for treats and have the perfect amount of energy. ILLUMINA Fest to feature over 40 performers

Special to the Advance McALLEN — The festival of lights at Quinta Mazatlan will spotlight over 40 community performers during the 5 night event from Dec. 13 to 17 in McAllen. Children and adults have come together to share their light during the winter celebration.

Olive trees are moneymakers

In the Valley, we’re blessed with relatively warm weather. Unless we get a freeze. I hate freezes, so I’m hoping we don’t get one this winter, but every now and then, here comes a Blue Norther dropping the mercury down south of 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 if you’re counting in Celsius. Plants die, the (lawn) grass turns brown, and we lose some bushes while some Snowbird from Minnesota still walks around in a t-shirt and shorts saying, “Why, this isn’t so cold. What’s wrong with you people?”
