PHARR — Hidalgo Precinct 2 Commissioner Eduardo “Eddie” Cantu will join City of Pharr Police Department to commemorate fallen Sgt. Jorge Luis Garcia with a plaque dedication ceremony today at 11 a.m. on 300 W. Hall Acres Road in Pharr.

Good Ol’ Charlie Brown, in a good ol’ four-paneled Peanuts strip that ran when I was still singing soprano, looks forlornly at a book on a table in the first panel and says “Christmas vacation is almost over…” With the book in hand, he exclaims in the second panel, “I still haven’t written my book report on ‘Gulliver’s Travels.’… I haven’t even started to read it yet!” In the third panel, he ponders aloud, “Why don’t I get started? Why do I put things off?” The fourth panel finds Good Ol’ Charlie Brown in a chair in front of the tv, asking himself the age-old question many of us continue to ask ourselves, “What’s wrong with me?”
